Is kalyanam.my only for Indian weddings?

No. The platform is culturally inspired by Malaysian Indian wedding needs, but it is open to all communities, ceremony formats, and celebration styles.

Can a vendor claim an existing listing?

Yes. Businesses can sign in, submit a claim request, and once approved, manage that listing from their own account.

Can online-only or home-based businesses be listed?

Yes. We welcome online-only, hybrid, onsite, and destination businesses so photographers, consultants, stylists, and similar services can be represented properly.

Do you only support Malaysia?

Malaysia is the priority market, but the structure is being built to support destination and neighbouring-country vendors, including Singapore, Indonesia, and India.

How do enquiries work?

Each vendor page includes an enquiry form so couples and families can reach out directly with their date, location, and event details. Vendors can then review those enquiries from their dashboard.

Why is the site called a soft launch?

Because couples can already browse businesses and send enquiries, while we continue improving features, listings, and planning tools over time.
